History Online
New Zealand Schools’ Debating has a proud history spanning 18+ years, which is now being documented online by Christopher Bishop and Jono Orpin. For those of us who were there at the beginning, please be kind - and sparing with the description of the history as “long”. There are now people in the competition who WEREN’T BORN when it all began.
Which raises the question - will we have a 20 year celebration in 2008? What do people think?
In the meantime, thanks for the excellent histories and the opportunity to have them all preserved in one, easily accesible repository.
