New Zealand Schools’ Debating

The New Zealand Schools’ Debating Council would like to congratulate NZSDC alumnus, Ranald Clouston, who was a runner-up at the recently completed World Universities’ Debating Championships in Vancouver, Canada. Ranald was debating for Cambridge University, which he is attending with the assistance of a Woolf Fisher scholarship.

Ranald was a winner of Nationals in 1999, and was a member of the NZ Schools Team which reached the semi-finals at Worlds in Pittsburg in 2000. Ranald also coached the Wellington Blue team to the Nationals Grand Final in 2005. Well done!
