Kerikeri High School win Northland Regionals

Kerikeri High School continued their winning streak at the Northland Regional Schools’ Debating Champs on the weekend, defeating Whangarei Boys’ High in the final. Click here  for a full report.

Napier Boys’ win Hawke’s Bay Regionals

For the second time in three years, Napier Boys’ High School took out the Hawke’s Bay Regional Schools’ Debating Champs, held on the weekend at Lindisfarne College. Click here for a full report, including photos.

Congrats Tom

Congratulations to Tom Chen, a member of the 2008 NZ Team which won the 2009 World Champs in Athens. Tom now studies at the Australian National University in Canberra, and he recently debated for ANU at the Australian Intervarsity Debating Champs, which involved over 100 teams and 300 debaters from all around Australia. Tom was ranked as the 8th best speaker at the tournament; a remarkable achievement. Tom’s team also reached the octo-finals.

Greymouth High School wins Nelson / Marlborough Regionals 2010

The 2010 Nelson / Marlborough Russell McVeagh Regional Schools’ Debating Champs were held on Saturday 27 March at Nayland College. It was an all Greymouth High School final, with Greymouth 1 emerging as the winning team. Click here for a full report.
