John Paul College from Rotorua have emerged as the winners of the 2010 Waikato Regional Schools Debating Champs which were held on Saturday 22 May at the University of Waikato. Full report to follow.

It was an all Palmerston North Boys’ High School Grand Final at the Central North Island Regional Champs held at St Peter’s College yesterday. The Boys’ High 1 team eventually emerged victorious over the Boys’ High 2 team, ensuring the Sir Michael Hardie Boys Trophy stays in Palmy for another year. Click here for more, including photos.

Christ’s College defeated Papanui High School by 3-2 in the final of the Canterbury Regional Schools’ Debating Champs held in Christchurch yesterday, winning the Press Cup. Click here for more.
