The Otago-Southland Russell McVeagh Regional Championships were held at the University of Otago on 11 / 12 March.
25 teams debated in five preliminary rounds with Otago Girls High School and Columba College reaching the Grand Final where they debated the motion “this house would aggressively raise the age of superannuation.” Congratulations to Columba College who were crowned Champions for Otago Southland in 2017.
We were delighted to have Hon Michael Woodhouse speak to attendees and present prizes at the Grand Final of the tournament.
