NZ Schools’ Debating is very excited to announce that we are expanding into the Bay of Plenty region – and as such are hosting the inaugural Russell McVeagh Bay of Plenty Regional Schools’ Championships in March 2018!
The expansion into Bay of Plenty reflects the strength of debating in the region and the opportunity we see to allow students to participate who would otherwise struggle to be involved due to the travel time. A huge thank you to our sponsor Russell McVeagh for allowing this expansion to occur.
In preparation, we are excited to now open entries for the Russell McVeagh Bay of Plenty Development Championships. The Championships will help develop students’ skill in public speaking and debating, and act as a warm-up prior to next year’s Regionals.
