New Zealand Schools’ Debating

Two more Russell McVeagh Regional Debating Champs were held this weekend.

In Hastings, Napier Girls’ High School beat Karamu High School to win their first ever Hawke’s Bay title. Elise Munden of Napier Girls’ was the best speaker. Click here for a report, and more photos.

St Cuthbert’s College took out the 2010 Russell McVeagh Auckland Schools’ Debating Championships held on the weekend at St Kentigern College. St Cuths defeated King’s College in the final. Click here for more.

St Kentigern College defeated Auckland Grammar School in a 2-1 decision at St Kent’s tonight to win the Auckland Regional Schools’ Debating Champs. Josh Baxter (Grammar) won the Convenor’s Cup for Best Speaker. Click here for more details.
