New Zealand Schools’ Debating

In round one of WSDC 2013, New Zealand (Ashley, James and Ed) beat Turkey 3-0, affirming the prepared motion “This House believes that important decisions about children’s health should be made by medical professionals and not by their parents.”

In round two New Zealand (Ashley, Tom and James) defeated Malaysia by 2-1 negating “This house believes that the media should be prevented by law from intruding into the private lives of public figures.”
