The New Zealand Schools Debating Council has now opened the first round of applications for adjudicators for the 2022 National Finals of the New Zealand Schools’ Debating Championships. Nationals this year is from Friday 27 -Monday 30 May in Wellington. We are looking to appoint adjudicators who:
- are experienced at judging schools’ debates;
- can deliver articulate oral adjudications;
- command respect as an adjudicator
Applications will can be made in two phases. In phase 1 applicants can indicate what level of subsidy you would need in order to judge at Nationals. Note that NZSDC will just reimburse expenses incurred and not subsidise over the actual cost of a judges travel/accommodation and rego fee for Nationals.
Phase 2 of applications will open closer to the time of Nationals. NZSDC can’t guarantee there will be spots or funding available to judges applying during phase 2.
