We Have Now Opened Convenor Applications For 2026!
The general responsibilities of a Regional Convenor include:
- Organising and attending the relevant regional competition (Dates are shown in the section below).
- Coordinating any additional tournaments held within the region throughout the year.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for all schools within the region.
No previous experience in convening or tournament organisation is required for this role. Although prior experience may be beneficial, support and training will be provided to all new convenors.

Applications close Monday 19th January at 6pm.
Convenors will be selected by Council as soon as possible after applications close and we aim to communicate the outcome in late January.
Please note that a handover period will take place in late January between the outgoing and incoming convenor for each region to ensure a smooth transition.
